Senior Retoucher

Lulu and Georgia is looking for an organized, detail oriented and hard-working Sr. Retoucher to join our growing team! You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where multitasking and problem solving are key. This position requires great attention to detail and excellent organization. You will be the point person ensuring color and product accuracy as well as overall look and feel of all final assets. In this role, you’ll report to our Sr. Manager of Photography and work closely with our creative team, buying team, and merchandising team.

Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with the Associate Director of Photography, this candidate will own lifestyle retouching for campaign and all other creative assets created in-house.
• Manage all post processing of images produced by external vendors.
• Provide clear and consistent directive to external outsource retouching teams to ensure studio and lifestyle photos are retouched in a timely manner.
• Make final adjustments to ensure collection sets communicate the collection vision as an image set.
• Keep an organized file structure and system for all photo and video assets that adheres to the company file structure.
• Maintain and organize all internal imagery backups.
• Organize all post process projects and prioritize workloads daily within the company task management application, Asana.
• Communicate with the buying and merchandising team to ensure all product across in-studio and lifestyle photography is captured accurately in physical form and color.
• Assist Merchandising team with any product imagery on the site that needs additional retouching or resizing.
• Collaborate with the team to create retouching markups on set at lifestyle photoshoots as well as compare/audit physical products to imagery provided by vendors.
• Assist in execution of product photography for specific categories as needed.
• Assist the photography team on set, serving as a second set of hands and digital tech as needed.
• Color expert on set to aid the capture workflow.
• Help coordinate video editing projects as needed.

• Experience retouching various types of campaign lifestyle and product photography
• Retouching experience-including advanced compositing
• Strong video editing experience preferred
• Software knowledge of Photoshop, Capture One and Lightroom
• Task Management Program knowledge of Asana and Google Drive- Slides, Drive, Word
• Lives in the Los Angeles area
• Must have reliable transportation for attending shoots
