Our client is a leading consulting firm with over four decades of experience in the environmental and civil engineeirng industries. They support clients nationwide and have offices across the Northeast, delivering impactful, high-quality projects.

We are seeking a Senior Site/Civil Engineer to lead and manage diverse land development projects in NYC and the metropolitan area. Working out of a New York City office, this role involves a blend of design, project management, and team leadership, offering opportunities to work on impactful urban projects with public and private sector clients.

Essentially - We are looking for someone to have a role in a mix of field and office (hybrid) and slowly move in Project Management. The career progression is key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the creation of site/civil engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Oversee project management tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and task management.
• Perform construction administration, including periodic site visits.
• Guide and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in New York.
• Experience coordinating with clients and design consultants.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D required.
• Familiarity with NYC permitting approval processes is an asset.
