We’re seeking to hire a Project Engineer or Senior Engineer with 5+ years of Civil Engineering experience to lead the Civil discipline within our Energy team. This engineer will be primarily responsible for managing and delivering designs for energy and utility clients. This engineer will work with junior civil engineers within the department and support their development, oversee and review their work, and providing strategic advisement to department project managers on civil matters.
Typical project types may include natural gas pipelines, meter and regulator stations, liquid natural gas plants, electrical utility assets, and utility operating yards / facilities. Crossover opportunities supporting solar (PV) designs and other renewable assets may also be available.
Responsibilities Include:
- Site layout
- Grading and earthwork plans and calculations
- Stormwater management system designs and SWPPPs
- Erosion and sedimentation control
- Pavement and curbing details
- Utility plans and profiles
- Trenchless utility crossings
- Permitting submittals and coordination
- Quality assurance
- Mentoring and development of junior staff
Required Experience / Credentials:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- PE license or ability to obtain one within one year of hire
- Ability to perform and collaborate in a hybrid working environment
