Production Supervisor-Night Shift

LHH has partnered with a growing company in search of a Production Supervisor to add to their night shift team. This person needs to have experience working in a manufacturing setting and must have at least two years of experience in a leadership role. Applicant would be joining a very collaborative team with plenty of growth opportunity within the company.

What you will do:

• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Oversee and coach employees
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Check production output according to specifications
• Submit reports on performance and progress
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

What you need:

• Experience in a manufacturing setting.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• A background in engineering (chemical) is a plus but not required.
• Experience in safety and quality at a manufacturing facility.
• Experience working with cross functional teams.
• The ability to work the night shift.
