Location: Seattle, WA
Salary: $145,000- $185,000 + Bonus(s)

Position Overview:
They are seeking an experienced Superintendent to manage and lead construction activities for water treatment plant projects and large diameter pipeline installations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in managing complex field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You will oversee crews, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure successful execution of large-scale water infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily field operations for water treatment plant and large diameter pipe projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Lead and mentor project teams, including field staff, subcontractors, and vendors, to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee and maintain project schedules, reviewing progress regularly to address any delays or obstacles.
- Ensure that work complies with all project specifications, drawings, and local and federal regulations.
- Monitor and enforce safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
- Manage the inspection and quality control processes, ensuring work is performed to the highest standards.
- Prepare and submit daily reports, field reports, and documentation on work progress, safety incidents, and site conditions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues, including design discrepancies, schedule challenges, or logistical concerns.
- Ensure proper utilization of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet project goals.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure smooth project execution and address any issues promptly.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with specific experience in water treatment plants and large diameter pipe installations
- Experience managing complex, large-scale infrastructure projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
- Strong understanding of water treatment processes, large pipe installation techniques, and associated construction methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and supervise teams effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations (OSHA, state, and federal standards).
- Proven track record of managing project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contractual documents.
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Excel, MS Word).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in the Seattle area or Pacific Northwest region.
- OSHA 30-hour certification or similar safety training.
- Experience with trenchless technology or horizontal directional drilling for large diameter pipe installation.
- Strong knowledge of municipal and water infrastructure design standards and best practices.
