Optomi, in partnership with a leading client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Finance Analyst for a hybrid role in the Dallas, TX area!

** Not accepting C2C at this time.

** 10-15% domestic travel is required.

Experience of the right candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an IT-related field.
  • Over 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP, particularly in the FICO modules.
  • 3+ years of practical experience in financial operations, analyzing, and improving financial systems and processes.
  • Experience with full life cycle implementations, from design to go live, for FICO modules.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ERP/SAP implementation for manufacturing company.
  • SAP FICO certification.
  • SAP S/4 HANA experience is a plus.
  • Experience working within the principles of Scrum or other agile development practice.

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

  • Manage and optimize end-to-end SAP FICO processes.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to enhance SAP FICO functionalities.
  • Configure SAP FICO to meet business requirements and create functional specifications for custom development.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the system functions correctly.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO issues.
  • Analyze financial data within SAP to provide insights and support decision making.
  • Lead training sessions and provide support for SAP FICO end users.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Drive projects aimed at improving financial operations and system integrations.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of SAP FICO modules and their integration with other SAP modules or applications.
