Summary: The SAP-Production Planning Specialist is responsible for evaluating, conceptualizing, and implementing new requirements from the business division. They provide support and further development of SAP-PP module and integrative adjacent areas (WM, SD, MM, etc.) The ideal candidate for the SAP System Specialist position should possess a degree in business informatics, industrial engineering, or business administration with a focus on manufacturing or logistics or warehousing, or an equivalent qualification.

Essential Functions:
- Evaluation, conception and implementation of new requirements from the Business division.
- Support and further development (customizing) of the SAP module PP and integrative adjacent areas
- Supporting users with their requirements and problems.
- Sub-project management (planning, realization, testing and acceptance).
- Training of specialist departments in the context of process and system design.
- Process analysis and optimization in the area of PP.
- Application support, problem management, implementation of the PP process landscape.
- Coordination and integration of external partners and quality assurance of externally created solutions.
- Participation in the design of group-wide standards for upcoming national and international rollouts.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Degree in business informatics, (industrial) engineering, business administration with a focus on logistics or warehousing or comparable qualification
- Knowledge in the field of project planning or process knowledge in the manufacturing industry
- Solid customizing know-how and implementation experience in the SAP PP environment
- High level of commitment, ability to work in a team and under pressure
- Fluent English (and maybe any other Language) skills for international SAP projects
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five years of experience working as a consultant or PP key user, working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- S/4Hana experience is a plus
