Senior Project Engineer

Our client in the “Engineered to Order” manufacturing space is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer knowledgeable in ASME Code Design (sections 1 &/or 8) to join their team.

Applying your engineering expertise, your day-to-day will be:

• Long lead item requisitions (pump, burner, valves, fittings)
• P&I drawings
• Directing drafters on project design and checking drawings for accuracy
• Coordination of internal resources and third parties/vendors to implement projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope and effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
• Field construction support.

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Project engineering experience
• The ideal candidate will have experience in some of the following areas: 3D Modeling (Autodesk Inventor and/or SolidWorks), Pressure Vessel Design & Calculations, Heat Transfer, Fluid Flow, Piping Design, Stress Analysis, and ASME Code Design.

• Strong customer service and support skills are vital
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
