Division President - Homebuilding

Position: Division President – Production Homebuilder

Location: Orlando, FL

Must have production and public homebuilding experience!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple departments in homebuilding operations (Land, Sales, Construction, Purchasing, Warranty, etc.)

• Maximize profits by establishing and executing business plans

• Partner with senior leaders to achieve forecasts and ensure customer excellence

• Identify and negotiate purchases of new communities

• Establish strategic partnerships with Brokers and Land Sellers

• Support short- and long-range financial development and management of the division

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations

• Provide regular reports to the corporate office

• Support talent acquisition, employee development, and retention

• Maintain professional affiliations and stay updated on industry trends

• Maintain positive reputation within the community and engage with government officials when necessary

Requirements:

• Must have a proven track record in operational, senior management roles working for production homebuilders, will consider candidates operating at VP level for construction, land, or operations functions

• Must be able to demonstrate success across functions such as Land, Sales, Finance & Construction

• Must be a strong leader of people

• Knowledge of fiscal and human resource management techniques

• Familiarity with governmental regulations and compliance requirements

• Strong financial analysis, planning, and supervisory skills

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

• Good negotiation skills
