LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an organization in Overland Park, KS, and assisting them search for a new Senior Benefits Analyst. The Senior Benefits Analyst is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs. This role involves analyzing benefits data, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and optimize costs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in benefits administration, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
Benefits Administration:
- Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Oversee the enrollment process, handle benefits-related inquiries, and resolve issues related to benefits administration.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze benefits data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present reports on benefits utilization, costs, and effectiveness to senior management.
Compliance and Regulation:
- Ensure that all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations and industry standards.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and advise on necessary adjustments to benefits plans.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers, ensuring service levels and compliance requirements are met.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing with vendors to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization.
Benefits Strategy and Design:
- Collaborate with HR leadership to design and implement benefits strategies that align with organizational goals and employee needs.
- Evaluate existing benefits programs and recommend enhancements or changes to improve competitiveness and effectiveness.
Communication and Training:
- Develop and deliver communication materials to educate employees about benefits options, changes, and utilization.
- Conduct training sessions for HR staff and managers on benefits administration and related topics.
Project Management:
- Lead or participate in special projects related to benefits, such as plan redesigns or system upgrades.
- Manage the implementation of new benefits programs or changes to existing programs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, with a proven track record in a senior or specialized role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in benefits management software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
