Pay Rate: $34.49/hour on W2
Work Type: Hybrid – In-Office (Mon, Tue, & Thu) | Remote (Wed & Fri)
Location: Houston, TX 77079
Duration: 1-year contract (with possible extension)
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development
- Leverage an in-depth understanding of the oil and gas industry and supply chain processes and value drivers to develop innovative data science, non-data science, and automation solutions.
- Build and implement data science and non-data science models to provide actionable insights for Supply Chain Management.
- Design and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for scalable, high-performance data processing.
- Utilize SAP and Oracle Cloud analytics tools to support product development and decision-making.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards for actionable insights.
- Ensure data governance and compliance with company policies on Company systems.
Program Management
- Define and document project objectives, business values, processes, and requirements.
- Oversee project timelines, resources, and cross-functional team coordination, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Prepare and deliver progress updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Maintain thorough program documentation, including weekly status reports.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 6–7 years of relevant experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the oil and gas sector, especially its processes and value drivers.
- Project Management: Skilled in managing projects and coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Technical Expertise:
- Advanced proficiency in data science, including statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization.
- Expertise in ETL tools and methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP and Oracle Cloud, particularly for analytics.
- Strong capabilities with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Dataflow, Power Automate, Power Apps) for workflow automation and low-code development.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL for data processing, automation, and analytics
