Job Description:
Our client is seeking a data savvy and process driven Finance Manager to join the finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the company’s financial planning processes, analysis, and reporting to drive business performance (as a value-add business partner). In addition, the finance manager will oversee internal compliance, such as internal controls/process improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Variance Analysis: Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends. Provide insightful reports to both local leadership team and the Headquarters in China.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making, investment evaluations, and cost management initiatives.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial planning processes and reporting tools for efficiency and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, finance, or accounting roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Experience in the Manufacturing Industry is preferred.
- Proficient in both English and Chinese language skill (writing and speaking)
- Prior experience in big four accounting firms is a plus
