Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Axiom Developer with at least 5+ years of experience in developing high-quality AXIOM Code. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering functionality as per technical specifications, ensuring code quality, and providing support for Axiom configurations. The role demands a strong understanding of database systems, SQL, and PL/SQL, along with experience in BI tools like Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development: Hands-on development of readable, performant, and supportable AXIOM Code, delivering functionalities as defined in technical specifications while assisting in Axiom technical design.
  • Configuration: Ability to configure Axiom from data sources, data models, and portfolio aggregations to meet project requirements.
  • Issue Analysis: Analyze and debug issues with Axiom configurations, performing root cause analysis to identify and resolve problems effectively.
  • PL/SQL Development: Develop and review PL/SQL code to support data sourcing into Axiom, ensuring a thorough understanding of the end-to-end data flow from database to Axiom.
  • Standards Compliance: Ensure that all code and configurations adhere to predefined company and departmental standards.
  • Requirements Review: Review requirements documents to ensure all functional requirements are clearly understood and documented.
  • Performance Tuning: Review PL/SQL codes and conduct performance tuning exercises to optimize system performance.
  • Testing: Prepare and execute detailed unit test cases to validate Axiom code in the Controller View.
  • Implementation Coordination: Coordinate the implementation process, including packaging code and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Engage and communicate with business counterparts and other cross-functional teams for requirement gathering, testing, implementation, and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience as an Axiom Developer.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in database management, SQL, and data structure design.
  • Strong understanding of PL/SQL for data sourcing activities.
  • Experience with Tableau or any other BI tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages for automation tasks.
  • Methodology: Experience in Agile methodology and practices.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a focus on root cause analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders effectively.
