Akkodis is seeking a Senior .NET Developer for one of our best clients here in Omaha, Nebraska! They are seeking a self-motivated highly passionate C# developer that works well in a team and has product development experience using an agile development methodology. If you value culture and a great work – life balance this is the position for you! Our client needs a developer who has used Cobol and is willing to help with Cobol development when needed
PAY RATE - 105,000 - 115,000 depending on fit and skill set
Education/Experience/Skills
Basic Requirements:
- BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience using .NET, C#, and service-oriented designs
Preferred Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience
- Proven working experience engineering software solutions
- Experience in the latest web technologies, methodologies, and frameworks
- Strong knowledge of transactional structured query language (T-SQL)
- Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, SASS/SCSS
- Strict adherence to best-practices and standards
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership role
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and exceptional planning and organizational skills.
- C# / .Net / SQL Server Database
- 98% of everything is on prem – a couple of apps are cloud based
- Front-End: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Entity Framework, Blazor is a plus
- They do have some API’s that integrate – mainly to SQL Server database.
- Some of the older apps are VB.NET – 15 to 20%
