Senior Loan Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead our commercial and residential lending staff to achieve loan production goals
  • Oversee loan production reporting, both residential and commercial
  • Supervise past dues and assist the collections department
  • Services a developed loan and depository portfolio
  • Service existing loan portfolio and ensure compliance with lending laws and regulations
  • Assist lenders in structuring new loans and renewals
  • Provide timely reports to the CEO and Board of Directors
  • Develop new loans and depository accounts
  • Support lenders in customer outreach and documentation gathering
  • Prepare loan packages for renewals and new loans
  • Monitors progress against business objectives throughout the year.
  • Oversees and manages production programs in order to increase productivity and maximize profitable growth.
  • Review credit rating triggers and administer lending activity in line with bank policy and regulatory requirements
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and other industry professionals to generate new business opportunities and referrals
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as credit analysis, underwriting, and legal to ensure efficient and accurate loan processing
  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes affecting the lending industry
  • Continuously seek ways to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency within the lending department
  • Works with CEO, CCO, and other members of Executive Management to develop goals, objective, incentive programs, policies and procedures to ensure fiscal integrity and control of the credit division.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 7 years of lending experience
  • At least 5 years of management experience
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
