GWTC is a litigation boutique firm in the Mid South with cases primarily in Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi. The Firm has a variety of practice areas for attorneys to assist its clients, including business litigation, construction defect, transportation, wrongful death, professional liability and more.

Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role located in Memphis, TN for an Attorney at Glassman, Wyatt, Tuttle & Cox, PC. The Attorney will be responsible for handling a caseload, performing legal research, writing legal documents, and representing clients in court. The successful candidate will also collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff, participate in client meetings, and provide legal advice and guidance to clients.

Depending upon the experience level, some candidates may see immediate responsibility in site inspections, depositions, court appearances and trial.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar in Tennessee or eligibility for admission
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
