We are looking for Administrative/loan processing assistant. This position is full-time and perfect for anyone with administrative or loan processing experience. This position is also in person. You will be spending your time doing a variety of tasks, including reviewing credit reports, ordering property appraisals, and collecting documents from customers.
Capstone Financial has funded over $200 million in private asset-based loans to local investors. We have originated over 2,000 loans since our opening in 2010, and we have established a reputation as a high-performing direct lender.
At Capstone, most of what you will do is related to private financing in real estate. Ever seen the shows “Fix My Flip” or “Flip or Flop?” Those people are our customers. They don’t use their own money for those projects, we finance their fix and flip projects.
Areas of Responsibilities:
- Guiding customers through the loan application process
- Collecting and reviewing customer documents, including credit reports and other financial documents
- Ordering and reviewing property appraisals for the loan underwriting process
- Assisting with administrative responsibilities, including answering the phone, filing documents, and responding to general correspondence
- Preparing reports and maintaining filing systems
- Performing general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, and data entry
- Resolving administrative problems and inquiries
- Assisting with loan documentation, loan servicing, client management, and interaction with other departments to meet internal/external needs
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Necessary Skills/Experience:
- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to multitask and juggle multiple responsibilities
- Discretion with personal information and financial data
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Dynamics)
- Preference given to candidates with experience in loan servicing, real estate, or the mortgage industry, as well as candidates with experience using The Mortgage Office software.
