Blue Leaf School, an RIE and Reggio-inspired educational institution in Boulder, Colorado, seeks highly qualified and motivated teachers to join our team. Our school is dedicated to providing children with an enriching and holistic learning experience inspired by multiple educational philosophies. We believe in fostering each child's independence, creativity, and love for learning. We are looking for someone who is not only curious about RIE but also Montessori or Reggio-inspired-trained to enhance our educational approach further.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement daily work and provocations for children
- Support children's independence and self-directed learning through a prepared environment
- Document children's progress and maintain individualized portfolios
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to create a supportive learning community
- Attend professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices
- Foster a love for nature, art, and exploration among children
- Cultivate a respectful and inclusive classroom environment
- Maintains a clean and safe environment (including cleaning and sterilizing toys)
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Or Montessori training from a recognized institution
- Or Reggio Emilia training or experience working within a Reggio-inspired setting
- Colorado ECE Teacher Qualified
- Knowledge of RIE principles and the ability to integrate them into a multi-faceted approach or willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to become
- Level 2 Colorado Shines or willing to become
