Blue Leaf School, an RIE and Reggio-inspired educational institution in Boulder, Colorado, seeks highly qualified and motivated teachers to join our team. Our school is dedicated to providing children with an enriching and holistic learning experience inspired by multiple educational philosophies. We believe in fostering each child's independence, creativity, and love for learning. We are looking for someone who is not only curious about RIE but also Montessori or Reggio-inspired-trained to enhance our educational approach further.
Responsibilities:Create and implement daily work and provocations for childrenSupport children's independence and self-directed learning through a prepared environmentDocument children's progress and maintain individualized portfoliosCollaborate with colleagues and parents to create a supportive learning communityAttend professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practicesFoster a love for nature, art, and exploration among childrenCultivate a respectful and inclusive classroom environmentMaintains a clean and safe environment (including cleaning and sterilizing toys)
Qualifications:Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related fieldOr Montessori training from a recognized institutionOr Reggio Emilia training or experience working within a Reggio-inspired settingColorado ECE Teacher QualifiedKnowledge of RIE principles and the ability to integrate them into a multi-faceted approach or willingness to learnExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenCurrent CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to becomeLevel 2 Colorado Shines or willing to become
