Demand Planner

Client Overview

Our client, a beauty brand, is seeking a Demand Planner to join their team in St. Petersburg, Florida.

This role is onsite 5 days in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Role Overview: You will develop sales forecasts for products using statistical analysis and product knowledge, collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve business goals, focus on setting sales expectations for new launches and promotions, and monitor inventory, report sales, and support business development.

Demand Planner Responsibilities:

• Determine product volume needs using historical sales and future promo strategies.
• Develop forecasts by analyzing sales trends and using statistical models in Excel and Anaplan.
• Collaborate with teams to understand the impact of product promotions on demand.
• Align demand projections with cross-functional teams.
• Present forecast analytics to Senior Leadership.
• Prepare and maintain ad-hoc demand planning reports.
• Analyze and adjust strategies based on sales performance
• Work with Category Management partners on product sales strategies.
• Maintain key performance metrics like forecast accuracy, inventory, sales, and margin.
• Provide analysis and recommendations on launches/promotions to Category Management.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize inventory.
• Identify opportunities to improve margin.
• Work with Category Management to minimize unproductive inventory.

Demand Planner Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in planning, logistics, supply chain, procurement, or data analytics.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Strong math and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems and forecasting tools.
