Director of Engineering

Allied Resources is looking for a Director of Engineering who will be responsible for leading the capital engineering team, overseeing $100M+ in annual capital investments across multiple facilities to drive critical operational improvements and long-term growth. This role plays a vital part in aligning capital strategies with business objectives, ensuring project success from scoping to execution.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate capital projects, including scoping, evaluation, and execution of engineering, growth, and maintenance projects across facilities.
• Oversee project planning stages, including budgeting, scheduling, estimating, procurement, and construction, to support an approved capital plan.
• Collaborate with site leaders to identify synergies and allocate resources for project execution.
• Manage and forecast capital expenditures, communicating regularly with Operations and Senior Leadership.
• Develop and uphold safety policies within engineering projects, conducting safety audits and fostering a safety-first culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Chemical Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years in capital project management and execution within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification or equivalent experience in productivity and continuous improvement projects.
