Director of Information Technology

We are seeking an experienced Director of IT and Infrastructure to join our dynamic team. As a Director, you will lead our IT team across multiple organizations and drive the expansion of our IT infrastructure in a rapidly scaling environment. This role requires an experienced leader with a strong background in building and managing IT operations, systems integration, and data reporting who can help elevate our organization’s technology to support growth.

This is a fully on-site position in Memphis, TN - relocation provided for the right candidate

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team that currently includes 2 IT Managers and 5 IT technicians, with one dedicated to help desk support, ensuring continuous support across all locations and companies.
• Design and implement scalable IT infrastructure to support the existing industry and anticipated growth to 4-5 additional locations.
• Oversee deployment of laptops to employees (large-scale 500).
• Manage and streamline IT systems, including POS, PowerSchool for school management, and asset tracking solutions.
• Support e-commerce initiatives and implement infrastructure to ensure consistent and reliable online operations.
• Improve data integration from POS systems to Power BI, enabling HR and other departments to access real-time dashboards and insights.
• Optimize ticketing systems and SharePoint for collaborative data sharing.

Requirements:

• Experience managing IT teams and building out scalable infrastructure, ideally in a multi-unit environment (education, retail, or hospitality).
• Demonstrated expertise in POS systems, Power BI and SharePoint
• Strong background in asset management, ticketing systems, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to manage growth and scale infrastructure in line with organizational goals.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
