Director of Information Technology

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Information Technology to lead our IT department and drive digital transformation. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of our IT infrastructure, systems, and security. You will be responsible for leading major initiatives such as ERP migration to the cloud, implementing a new business reporting framework, and selecting and onboarding a new Managed Service Provider (MSP). Additionally, you will play a key role in establishing a robust ticketing system and developing e-commerce strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• ERP Migration: Lead the planning, execution, and post-implementation support for the ERP migration to the cloud.
• Business Reporting: Design and implement a new business reporting framework to provide actionable insights and improve decision-making.
• MSP Selection and Onboarding: Oversee the selection and onboarding of a new Managed Service Provider to optimize IT operations and reduce costs.
• IT Infrastructure: Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and cybersecurity.
• IT Operations: Ensure smooth IT operations, including system uptime, data security, and disaster recovery.
• Team Management: Recruit, hire, and lead a high-performing IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
• Project Management: Effectively manage and prioritize multiple IT projects, including the implementation of new technologies and systems.
• Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
• E-commerce Strategy: Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to enhance online sales and customer experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in ERP implementation, cloud migration, and cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems administration.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ticketing systems, e-commerce platforms, and business intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and compliance standards.
