AI System or Design Architect
MediaTek SoC System Architecture team explores the system architecture and defines the product specifications for all MediaTek product lines. MediaTek SOC System Architecture team is a multidisciplinary group working on the system architecture of multiple product lines, defining the product specification and exploring innovations for better user experience. Given the tremendous breakthrough in AI technology, we are looking for a leader to define the future system architecture for AI applications, including using AI to change our methodology of architecture exploration.
Job Description:
- Explore the fabric architecture (NOC/interconnect and memory system) to fulfil the needs of different verticals, including mobile, compute, automotive and server products. Deliver PPA scalable fabric architecture as well as the QoS solution.
- Evaluate the fabric configuration of the product based on the system use case
- Drive architecture exploration and product configuration methodologies
Requirements:
- Understand the NOC/Interconnect architecture, including on-chip/cross-chip interconnect technology and coherence technology
- Understand the memory hierarchy and the memory technology
- Experienced performance analysis of the fabric sub-system to drive the key technology and opportunity for the next-generation system
- They will be able to present the technology roadmap, foresee future challenges, and support the internal technology teams in transitioning from their current architecture to the next-generation architecture.
- Strong communication skills (written/verbal) and executive presence
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in fabric-related technology development with 5+ years of experience in subsystem, SoC, or system architecture planning.
- They will need to interact closely with the MediaTek Taiwan teams
- Location: San Jose or San Diego
Salary range: $180,000 - $250,000
Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
