As a Sourcing and Production Coordinator for Legwear, you’ll be at the forefront of our production team, driving daily operations, overseeing sample approvals, and ensuring flawless internal organization. You’ll be the key link between our global vendors and internal teams, upholding Basic Resources’ high standards and cultivating strong, collaborative relationships. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that every detail aligns with our mission to deliver exceptional, high-quality product.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate daily with overseas vendors to manage order inquiries and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Set up costing, create purchase orders, and send them to vendors. Generate weekly reports of orders issued.
  • Create and share Time & Action Calendars with vendors for each purchase order.
  • Track and update purchase orders weekly (WIP Report) to ensure production milestones are met according to the Time & Action Calendar.
  • Oversee, order, and track top-of-production samples from overseas vendors to ensure they meet company standards before shipment release.
  • Attend weekly meetings with internal and cross-functional teams to review the status of new and existing orders and address the needs of each team.
  • Partner with the Compliance team to ensure that necessary testing, certifications, and reports are completed before shipping.
  • Work closely with the Imports and Sales/Planning teams on vessel bookings and schedules that deviate from the original plan.
  • Assist the Production Team with various production-related responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sourcing, product development, or production, preferably with socks/knitwear experience.
  • Strong communication skills essential for effective coordination and liaison
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate well with others.
  • Solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Highly organized, self-starter, and deadline driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with PLM and SAP is a plus.

Annual salary starting $60,000.
