Pay: $74/hr - $83/hr W-2 Only, US Citizen/Green Card/EAD, NO (Sponsorship, H1-B or C2C), Onsite 5 days a week Cincinnati, OH 45202, 6 Month Contract to Hire

Must Have: AWS, Knowledge of REST API, Knowledge of infrastructure-based applications such as Docker, Kubernetes, and microservice, Strong skills in Java, Spring, Springboot

Nice To Have: Tech Lead/Team experience working with Devs and Product team

CBTS is searching for a Sr Backend Modernization Java Cloud Developer.

Responsibilities:

  • Design application code, implement technical solutions, and configure applications in various environments in response to business issues.
  • Write applications to solve analytical problems.
  • Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development, and testing.
  • Design and implement product features including reusable components, frameworks and libraries in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Work with strategic customers, using expertise in application containerization methodologies, to containerize customer application.
  • Develop “best practices” for containerizing and modernizing a variety of application platforms.
  • Code, test, release, and support data.
  • Design software solutions to solve complex problems.
  • Automate, build, and test processes for various solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Degree or related work experience
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-based applications such as Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.
  • Strong skills in Java, Spring, Springboot.
  • Knowledge of Rest API
