Job Summary:

The Production Assistant, RTW, will provide essential support in managing the production lifecycle for all Ready-to-Wear (RTW) categories. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to monitor fabric and trim submissions, track deliveries, manage bulk orders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely production. You will work closely with the production manager, logistics director, and tech team to maintain production quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Bulk Trim Management:

  • Monitor and track bulk fabric and trim submissions with factories for all RTW categories.
  • Prepare weekly bulk fabric and trim submissions for review with the production manager.
  • Review seasonal trim inventory with the production manager to place blanket trim purchase orders (POs) for low-inventory trims, ensuring factories meet minimum order quantities (MOQ) for optimal costs.
  • Track pending lab dip approvals using R&G charts and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Organize bulk trims for easy accessibility and reference.

Delivery Tracking Management:

  • Review delivery WIP (Work in Progress) reports on a daily/weekly basis with the production associate to ensure all production milestones are met.
  • Collaborate with the logistics director to resolve any bulk shipment delays.
  • Follow up with factories on delivery timings and update the vendor portal with shipping information.

Bulk Order Management:

  • Issue and update Full Circle POs for all RTW categories.
  • Manage non-product POs and issue cuts as needed.
  • Review and reconcile shipment overage/shortage requests from factories with the planning team to avoid unwanted inventory.
  • Monitor bulk shipment overages/shortages on the delivery WIP report, ensuring all unapproved overages/shortages are captured before system receipt.

Fit Management:

  • Conduct weekly meetings with the tech team to track, prioritize, and ensure timely approval of outstanding fits and TOPs (Top of Production samples) to maintain garment delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with the tech team to raise and address quality and fit issues with factories, resolving any rejections with the production manager.
  • Receive TOPs and verify all trims and bulk materials are correct before passing them to the tech team for fittings.

Liability Management:

  • Maintain and update the master liability report on a seasonal basis with the production manager and cross-functional teams for all RTW categories (menswear and womenswear).
  • Maintain and update the core fabric positioning report on a bi-weekly basis for all RTW categories (menswear and womenswear).

Professional Skills & Experience:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Full Circle ERP is a plus.
  • Ability to track and manage production details, including POs, WIP reports, and fit samples.

*MUST BE IN OFFICE 4 DAYS A WEEK
