Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies to meet the company's objectives.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the annual budget process and ongoing forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports for key stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support.
  • Cash Flow Management: Optimize cash flow and allocate resources effectively to support operations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.

The Person

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of progressive financial leadership, ideally in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations, with proficiency in financial modelling.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to design and implement effective financial plans.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing finance teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach.
  • Communication: Clear and effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Systems Knowledge: Experience with ERP systems and financial platforms.
