The Finance Department is looking for an enthusiastic and energic Senior Billing Manager. This position will manage firm-wide billing support and workflows.

San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $131,750 - $178,250 per year
Austin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: $119,000 - $161,000 per year
Salt Lake City and all other locations: $105,400 - $142,600 per year
The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.

The Finance Department is looking for an enthusiastic and energic Senior Billing Manager. This position will manage firm-wide billing support and workflows.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Firm wide point of contact for billing set up, configuration and support requests.
- Conduct training for new hires on Expert Billing and Paperless Prebill.
- Conduct ongoing training and support for Paperless Prebill to EAs, members, and reviewing attorneys.
- Manage billing monthly workflow including, including timely prebill processing by finance team, follow up with members and departments on late prebills, and responsible for completion of all monthly billing activities by monthly close.
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of matter billing schedules (monthly, milestone, end of project, etc.).
- Reduce aged WIP in line with firm financial policies.
- Initiate monthly prebill generation and prompt distribution of prebills to reviewers and members.
- Management of complex billing set ups, including split billing, weekly retainer billing, task and activity codes, matter plans, fixed fees, subscription billing, group billing, consolidated billing, Onboard split billing in Entity Manager.
- Other duties as assigned by billing director.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of billing management experience at a law firm.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience with the billing, collections, and eBilling functions of a law firm.
- Experience with Expert Billing, Expert Paperless Billing, Aderant and BillBlast strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong service-oriented skills including excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and group session facilitation.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
