Job Description:
As an Escrow Officer at Old Republic Title, you will be at the heart of real estate transactions, expertly coordinating closings and ensuring that every detail is meticulously managed. Your role is pivotal in seamlessly communicating and confirming transaction details with principals, agents, lenders, and other key parties, guaranteeing a smooth and efficient process. You'll take charge of preparing and coordinating escrow instructions, documents, and fund disbursements, ensuring that all requirements for title insurance issuance are satisfied. Acting as a trusted liaison between clients and our title and underwriting departments, you'll help maintain the integrity and efficiency that our clients expect.
*This is an office-based position on a daily basis. Remote applicants will not be considered. The person selected for this position may work from any of our four Solano County branches in Vacaville, Vallejo, Benicia or Fairfield, CA.
Your daily responsibilities will include preparing detailed settlement statements in compliance with all state and federal regulations, ensuring accuracy at every step. By reviewing and clearing title requirements, collaborating with underwriters, and resolving any discrepancies, you will ensure that transactions proceed smoothly and efficiently. In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate closely with management, sales, and marketing teams to drive revenue growth, retain clients, and secure new business opportunities. As a mentor, you'll guide and train escrow assistants, fostering a productive and supportive environment within your branch. Beyond your core duties, you'll represent the company at industry events, continue your professional development through ongoing education, and stay adaptable in a rapidly changing industry.
*Must have 2 or more years of escrow experience.
To succeed in this role, you will need in-depth knowledge of title insurance and escrow processes, and exceptional time management skills. Your ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines will be key to your success. A keen attention to detail, proficiency in relevant software, and a strong sense of professionalism are essential. The estimated pay range stated represents the typical pay range for this position or similarly employed employees or employees performing substantially similar work. Factors which may be used to determine the actual pay rate may include, but are not limited to, education, training or experience; seniority; merit and work performance; quantity or quality of production; regional differences in compensation; differences in local minimum wages, or ability and effort.
Pay Range for the position is between $25.96 and $51.92 per hour.
Old Republic complies with all federal, state and local laws including minimum wage requirements. In the event a minimum hourly rate stated is lower than the minimum wage required by law, Old Republic will always pay an amount equal to or greater than the minimum wage required by law.
