The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including managing the month-end close process, preparing consolidated financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role leads the consolidation of subsidiary financials, manages shared services functions, and supports cash and treasury management. Additionally, the Corporate Accounting Manager plays a key role in implementing internal controls, supporting audits, and driving process improvements across accounting operations. They will also provide leadership to the accounting team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and maintain procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across the organization.
  • Maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure internal controls are effective and compliance requirements are met.
  • Manage and reconcile the elimination of intercompany transactions and ensure proper reporting.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making as needed.
  • Coordinate and work with external auditors during the year end audit.
  • Oversee corporate budgets and forecasts and monitor results.
  • Collaborate across subsidiaries and departments to ensure we are optimizing the use of our ERP.
  • Champion initiatives to streamline accounting workflows while leveraging technology for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and review journal entries as needed.
  • Work closely with treasury and finance teams to optimize cash management strategies and ensure compliance across subsidiaries.
  • Lead or support special projects, such as system implementations, process automation as needed.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to support budgeting and forecasting processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and consolidation accounting practices.
  • Proven experience in accounting leadership roles with focus on month end close, financial analysis, audit, tax, daily banking, internal controls, and technical accounting.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Experience with shared services management or process improvement initiatives is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
