Sales Specialist - Quant Feeds

The Sales Specialist is accountable for driving LSEG`s Data & Analytics strategy for growth and market differentiation. This role sits within the Data and Feeds Team and will focus on Quant Feeds and Macroeconomics solutions primarily into Hedge Funds, Asset Management, Broker Dealers, Investment Banks, and other Financial Institutions. They work with and provide market insight to our Product Management, Sales Readiness and Account Management teams to support execution of this strategy. You will lead on deals aligned to this proposition and serve accounts within a defined territory. The role works closely with internal partners to proactively drive gross sales and revenue.
Role Responsibilities
• Structure, negotiate and close deals
• Proactively identify pipeline opportunities, in coordination with Account Managers
• Develop the sales strategy for their proposition within their territory and build close plans in collaboration with Account Team.
• Provide insights and share LSEG thought leadership on their proposition with customers
• Deliver customer demonstrations on their specific propositions
Qualifications and Experience Required
• Must have deep workflow knowledge of & experience in dealing with different departments such as Trading, Capital Markets, Risk, Compliance, Research, Funds, Technology, Reporting etc.
• Demonstrate excellent understanding of using real-time pricing and time-series events for investment decision making for buy-side and sell-side market players
• Outstanding selling skills (identify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a "hunter" and a "closer"
• Creative problem solver and good sales conceptualization skills
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills (verbal & written)
• Ability to coordinate and implement a sales plan based on solution selling
• 5-10 years of industry, sales or market experience
• Proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment
• Experience selling to C- level executives
Compensation/Benefits Information (New York applicants only):
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $96,400 - $179,200.

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $96,400 - $179,200.
Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
