WEALTH ADVISOR
HUNTSVILLE OFFICE / HYBRID WORK FLEXIBILITY / COMPENSATION BASED ON EXPERIENCE
The Wealth Advisor is a senior-level team member with primary responsibility for client relationships, including leadership in team collaboration, managing the full scope of each client's financial planning. The Wealth Advisor serves existing BWWS clients and contributes to business development in expanding the firm's client base.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No Direct Reports
General Summary: At BMSS Wesson Wealth Solutions (BWWS), we serve the complex advisory needs of our clients-business owners, corporate executives, high-income professionals, and families stewarding earnings or inherited wealth. Blending the art and science of wealth management, our team supports clients holistically in each dimension of their financial lives-providing advice on retirement, risk management, tax optimization strategies, investment management, effective wealth transfers, and business succession. Beyond financial planning and investment advice, we engage clients in a life impact stewardship journey, guiding them to make their dreams a reality, with outcomes of generosity, legacy, service, healthy family dynamics, and impact investing.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve assigned existing clients as the primary relationship manager.
- Build client base through networking and referrals from the BMSS CPA firm and the marketplace.
- Quarterback client meetings and related preparation, manage the processes of financial planning and investment policy setting, develop solutions for client fact sets and problems, and oversee the delivery of advice and recommendations.
- Proactively maintain strong client relationships and provide proactive financial guidance.
- Promote ethical behavior within the team, handle complex situations with fairness, and address unethical behavior.
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines, anticipate issues, and support the team reliably.
- Encourage team accountability, hold others accountable constructively, and develop accountability strategies.
- Handle high-pressure situations confidently, support others during challenges, and refine personal resilience strategies.
- Anticipate urgent needs, guide the team in managing time-sensitive tasks, and balance immediate and long-term priorities.
Job Specifications
Experience Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in financial advisory roles, including experience managing high-net-worth clients.
- Experience and expertise in delivering wealth management solutions to high-net-worth clients.
- Strengths in mentoring and leadership.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing complex financial strategies with multiple specializations being brought together as a team to serve more sophisticated financial needs.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Required Licenses and/or Designations
- CFP® certification preferred
- Series 65
Preferred Experience, Education, and Training
- Strong analytical and financial planning skills, including areas of trust and estate, tax, business succession, risk mitigation, and investments.
- Effectiveness in identifying and prioritizing tasks, rarely needing assistance; making decisions confidently, usually correct and rarely needing validation.
- Outstanding time management skills, consistently meeting deadlines with little to no supervision.
- Strength in communicating clearly and effectively in various situations, adept at conveying complex ideas.
- Competency for significant impact contributions and recommendations that are consistently valuable and require minimal adjustments.
- Proficiency in core technology, independently handling most tasks.
- Excellence in communication and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
