Were looking for a dedicated Second Shift Production Lead to support our growth while upholding our commitment to quality, sustainability, and animal welfare. Position Overview

The Second Shift Production Lead will oversee daily operations during the second shift, ensuring smooth workflow, efficient production, and high-quality output. This position requires hands-on leadership to guide and motivate the team, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and monitor quality at every stage of the process. The ideal candidate will have experience in meat processing, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead by example. Key Responsibilities

Production Oversight: Lead and manage the second shift production team to meet daily production targets. Coordinate with first shift leads and other departments to ensure a smooth handoff and continuity of operations. Monitor workflow to ensure optimal efficiency and maintain production quality standards. Quality Control: Ensure all products meet Renegade Processings quality specifications, including cuts, packaging, and labeling. Conduct regular quality checks throughout production and provide feedback to the team as needed. Team Leadership & Development: Train, mentor, and supervise second shift team members, fostering a positive and motivated work environment. Provide performance feedback, identify development opportunities, and support employee growth. Health & Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce all health, safety, and sanitation policies to ensure a safe work environment. Conduct routine inspections and safety audits, addressing any issues promptly. Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resources. Collaborate with the management team to implement best practices in line with the companys sustainability and quality goals. Requirements

Experience: 2+ years in a production lead or supervisory role, preferably in meat processing or a related food production environment. Knowledge of USDA regulations, food safety protocols, and quality assurance in meat processing is preferred. Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage production flow and adapt to changing priorities. Proven leadership skills with a track record of fostering a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating across departments and shifts. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, lift, and move for extended periods in a fast-paced production environment. Comfortable working in a cold environment and handling meat products. Benefits
