We are hiring a Sr. Program Risk Manager to join our Project Support Services team. This individual will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with various programs and projects within the organization. This role supports the sales/tendering team, and finance during the early, mid, and late-stage development of commercial offers. This role also will oversee a small team of risk analysts in support of the project life cycle to facilitate the risk reviews throughout the life of large complex engineering and I&C projects. This may include supporting identification of commercial and execution risks, review of mitigation strategies, assessing likelihood of risk occurrence, and independently validating completion of thorough risk reviews. While this role is collaborative in nature, it is meant to provide an independent view of risk profiles. This role involves working closely with project managers, senior level stakeholders, technical leads, and team members to ensure that risks are effectively identified and managed.

In this role, you will be expected to implement a risk governance model within the Long-Term Operations Business Unit and serve as an independent expert during the tendering stage. Drive the implementation of risk and opportunities processes and tools during project execution. Maintain visibility of top risks and translate those risks and opportunities into profitable business initiatives. The candidate will actively engage in implementing mitigation plans to support business unit objectives and will drive proactive behaviors to address project specific and portfolio risks. The candidate will need to partner with the business unit senior leadership team and key project personnel to ensure Westinghouse retains a healthy risk/reward balance. This role will lead critical project reviews and is responsible for supporting the business to prepare portfolio reviews at the BU/segment and sub-segment level.

This role acts as a risk subject matter expert,an enabling function with appropriate controls as needed, reviews risk profiles and provides extensive analytics.

This role is based out of our headquarters in Cranberry Township, PA, but can be performed remotely.

Key Responsibilities: Risk & Opportunity Identification and Assessment: Identify potential risks & opportunities that could impact program objectives and assess their likelihood and impact. Risk Mitigation Planning: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of identified risks. Risk Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor risks and provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of risk management activities. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with tendering teams, project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure that risk management activities are integrated into project planning and execution. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive risk registers and prepare detailed risk management reports for senior management. Training and Support: Provide training and support to project teams on risk management processes and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field. Proven experience in risk management, preferably in a program or project management environment. Familiarity with Project Controls including scheduling and costing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities 20+ years working in Project Management or related field managing large EPC type projects. Preferred Qualifications: Professional certification in risk management (e.g., PMI-RMP, CRISC). Experience with risk management software tools. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in risk management. Previous experience working in Contract Management
