Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner - Locum

We are in need of a Nurse Practitioner for Neurosurgery coverage in Virginia. The ideal candidate must be Board Certified, have a current DEA, and VA state license. The shifts will be Monday to Sunday, from 7 pm to 7 am on a 7 on 7 off schedule. The patient population includes trauma (spine and crani), elective spine, and elective cranial cases. Responsibilities will include removal of drains, shunt adjustment, and Trauma/Practice Call. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $90 to $120 per hour. Support staff consists of 8 MD's and 9 APP's. We provide complimentary housing and travel, cover licensing and malpractice costs, and simplify the credentialing and privileging process.
