Sr. Learning & Development Specialist - All Regions
The Sr. Learning and Development Specialist will provide a comprehensive range of learning services that align with business needs. The position will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing learning solutions that are engaging and build the capabilities of our workforce. Relationship management and working with internal partners and points of contact are crucial aspects of this role. This position will be responsible for fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and determining appropriate training support and solutions. This position will report to the Manager of Learning & Development.
Required SkillsDesigning and developing instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning training coursesManaging learning and development programs from inception through evaluationCollaborating with subject-matter experts to design and develop training programsDesigning, developing, and evaluating learning activities to engage employeesOverseeing all aspects of event management related to in-person training sessionsEvaluating program effectiveness and continuously improving our solutionsPartnering with executives and department managers on needs analyses and trainingsProven consultative and collaboration skills across all levelsManaging external vendor relationsManaging multiple projects simultaneouslyProven skills in working as a member of a team as well as independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft applicationsProficiency in use of virtual delivery platforms (i.e. Teams, Zoom)Required Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferredMinimum of 6 years of experience in learning and development, organizational development, instructional design, training, or a related fieldExperience with learning technologies (i.e. Camtasia, Storyline, LMS)Prior experience managing a full training program for all roles within a departmentApplication of adult learning principals in program design
Job Location
Hybrid with home base located at headquarters or one of our regional offices.
Travel
Approximately 10-15% to regional offices, off-site training venues, and job sites
