Intern-HR-Talent DevelopmentThe Talent Development Intern will play a key role in coordinating the training and development needs of our employees. This includes preparation and delivery of training programs, identifying instructors/resources, and acting as a liaison to departments and other team members. This role will be responsible for supporting new learning initiatives. With our focus on growth, this role will have plenty of challenges to solve as well as opportunity to grow.
Essential FunctionsAssist with coordination of events and trainings developed and/or hosted by Talent DevelopmentAssist with instruction design, development, and testing of coursesSupport the TD team with learning projects and initiatives, including working with internal leaders and subject matter experts to ensure we meet their requirementsAssist with updating our learning management system, CCUonline, with our scheduled training sessions, report and track all training needs and completed training activity, build out of modules and integrationsSupport the coordination of programs including room bookings, communication design, pre- and post-course work, calendar invitations, reminders, preparation of course materials and follow up evaluation surveysManage workshop enrollments to ensure we have high attendee numbers; monitoring waiting lists and scheduling sessions for individuals when spaces become availableManage the training room and workshop set-ups, resources required for the session, keep the training rooms stocked up i.e. flip charts, pens etc. are available, rooms are clean and tidyMaintain a log of our training providers, business coaches and technical trainers and proactively seek feedback of existing providers and information regarding new suppliersContinuous evaluation and improvement of each trainingSupport the Talent Development team throughout the onboarding/training process for new hiresMaintain curriculum and other talent development resourcesCollaborate with TD colleagues on special projects
Required Experience
A self-directed learner who is interested in developing their skills in the TD fieldHighly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasksExcellent communication skills and impeccable follow throughAbility to learn new systems quickly and to adapt to changing prioritiesExcellent relationship building skillsProficient with MS Office SuiteKnowledge of Learning and Development systems and software a plus (i.e. Learning Management Systems, Camtasia, Articulate/Storyline)
