What you'll be challenged to do:The Regional Construction Service Lead (RCSL) is responsible for developing a regional strategy to grow and maintain a profitable construction service practice. This will be accomplished by integrating both business development and operations.

General Duties & Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Coordinates the development and maintenance of promotional information.

Serves as the regional contact for the construction service practice.

Participates in regional and national trade shows related to the construction service practice.

Participates in local area strategies session that are directly related to the construction service Helps set sales goals for the construction service practice. Helps set project pursuit priorities.

Participates as a Capture Team Be part of the Red Team for projects not assigned to.

Supports operations of the Construction services practices. Aid in the management and staffing resources and maintaining database for project assignments, specialties, and Works to identify and hire Key Hires for practice.

Helps set parameters for the operations of the construction service practice.

Provides leadership and guidance in the overall QA/QC of projects within the area and Works with design group to provide constructibility reviews.

Works with the Corporate Safety Director and provide leadership in the implementation of Corporate Safety polices and directives.

Direct and review the work of direct reports.

BS or BA in relevant field - Construction Management or Project Management preferred.

Requires 12 years of relevant progressive experience with some technical training or equivalent.

Ability to read and analyze documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to interpret a variety of complex or diverse information; Uses intuition and experience to complement data;

Project Management - Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities; Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner;

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to pratical situations.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word software and Internet software.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Maryland, Connecticut, Ohio, Washington, or NY City, Gannett Fleming TranSystems is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Maryland and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; internal peer equity; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Gannett Fleming TranSystems, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $94,000 - $140,000 annually.
