This is a Assembly Operator position located in Oxford, MS.

Salary: $17.34/hour with an increase to $19.18 after successful evaluations and 90 days.

Schedule: 4-10's Monday - Thursday 3:30pm - 1:30am after completing six (6) weeks of training on 1st shift (Monday - Thursday 5:30am - 3:30pm)

Focus:The Assembly Operator is responsible for carrying out tasks and following production processes that contribute to creating the finished product in the Military Pack department.

Assembly Operator Essential Job Functions: Follow work instructions for the operation and control of various machines on a rotation through their respective areas. Perform basic visual quality inspections of small components and remove all defective parts. Pack ammunition into small boxes and load into cases weighing up to 25 pounds. Hand pack product into cartons using appropriate tools. Lift aluminum and steel plates with shells of different sizes into various machines. Utilize best work practices and housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Assembly Operator Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Proven job stability. Ability and willingness to work 2nd shift (Monday - Thursday 3:30pm - 1:30am), plus overtime to include Fridays and Saturdays as required. This position requires employees to train on day shift (5:30am - 3:30pm) for six (6) weeks. Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as required. Prior manufacturing and/or warehouse experience. Prior Winchester experience in a relevant position preferred.

Location-Specific Requirements: This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
