The ultimate goal is to help enable near-term Squad objectives en route to achieving long-term brand results. The span of coverage will include Virginia, North Carolina, most of South Carolina, Tennessee, most of Kentucky, parts of Missouri, Arkansas, and Mississippi. Travel up to 50% within the territory. The candidate must be domiciled within the territory.KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Thought Leader (TL) EngagementCongresses & Regional Convention LeadershipSpeaker Bureau EngagementLocalize Marketing Initiatives and Programs including DigitalInsight Generation and Field PartnershipWHO YOU AREBayer is seeking an incumbent who possesses the following:REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONBachelors degreeValid driver’s license and clean driving recordExperience in the pharma/biotech industry with customer-facingExperience working within the oncology or urology therapeutic areasProven accomplishment in identifying and driving a strategic approach to businessProven track record of sales, customer-facing success, and/or superior project managementSignificant experience in creating, maintaining and growing relationships with key customers and stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to advance parallel initiatives in a fast-paced environment, show attention to detail, and follow through to completionProactive, results-oriented, hard-working, self-starter motivated by a challenging taskDemonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally, both within the organization and with external partners, collaborating to ensure successful project completionDesire to take the next step in your career to build a marketing capability or advance in sales leadershipExcellent communication skills & strong organizational skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree with a life science background5-7 years’ experience in the pharma/biotech industry with at least 2 years of customer-facing2 years experience working within the oncology or urology therapeutic areasMarketing or other functional/leadership experience in sales training, sales management, market access, and/or other commercial areas strongly preferredExperience and relations working with Academic institutions and key accounts a strong preferenceEmployees can expect to be paid a salary between $150,930.00 to $226,396.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
