#CloroxIsThePlaceYour role at Clorox:The Associate Director (AD), ERM will report to the VP, Enterprise Transformation Projects. As the Associate Director, you will be responsible for leading the organization’s risk management initiatives. You will conduct project-based risk assessments and manage the enterprise risk assessment process to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks across the enterprise. Your role will involve continuous program enhancements to improve the company’s risk posture, ensuring that risks are effectively managed in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.In this role, you will:Identify and evaluate risks across the organization, including strategic, operational, financial, compliance, and reputational risks.Develop risk profiles and heat maps to communicate risk levels and trends to senior management and the board of directors.Conduct risk assessments for specific projects, initiatives, and business processes, monitor and report on the status of risk mitigation activities for key projects.Collaborate with project teams to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies; work with business units and subject matter experts to develop and implement risk mitigation plans.Continuously improve the enterprise risk management program to enhance the company’s risk posture.Identify and implement best practices and emerging trends in risk management; develop and deliver risk management training and awareness programs for employees.Prepare and present risk assessment reports to senior management and the board of directors.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote a risk-aware culture; communicate risk management activities and outcomes to stakeholders across the organization.Maintain documentation of risk assessments, mitigation plans, and risk management activities.Serve as a subject matter expert on the enterprise risk management framework and provide guidance to business units.Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on the organization’s risk management activities.What we look for:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), or similar.Minimum of 10 years related professional experience, to include at least 5 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on enterprise risk management. Experience in a similar role within CPG companies preferred.Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with risk management software and tools a plus.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management.Workplace type:Hybrid: This person will work a hybrid schedule, 3 days in the Oakland office and 2 days remotely.We seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.
