We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to handle international shipments, documentation, and logistics support. This role requires experience with SAP, AES filing, and a strong understanding of international shipping processes. If you have excellent organizational skills and a background in shipping, this position offers a great opportunity to join a dynamic team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparing and processing international shipments, including completing all required documentation.Weighing shipments accurately to ensure compliance with shipping standards.Creating and verifying Bills of Lading.Utilizing SAP for shipment tracking and data entry.Completing AES filing and issuing Shipper's Letters of Instruction as needed.Communicating effectively over the phone with internal teams, customers, and shipping partners.Performing metric calculations to confirm shipment weight, dimensions, and other specifications.Skills/Qualifications:
Experience in international shipping procedures and compliance.Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.Strong understanding of AES filing and Shipper's Letter of Instructions.Excellent phone communication skills.Familiarity with metric math for calculating shipment details.Attention to detail and organizational skills.
