RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Student Enrichment Center at Cameron University seeks a full-time Student Success Coach. This is a grant-funded position. Funding is guaranteed through August 2025. Continuation of this position is contingent upon administrative discretion after the life of the grant.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working individually with assigned at-risk students
Refer at-risk students to the appropriate personnel for additional support
Follow-up with at-risk students to determine if students are having additional difficulties
Liaison with the at-risk student's academic advisor to ensure consistent support
Participating in monthly meetings with other Title III personnel
Participating in data collection activities as appropriate
Explaining undergraduate degree options to students and to coordinate with various offices across campus
Position reports to the Coordinator of Student Success.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree with two years relevant experience
· Demonstrated commitment to student success
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to maintain accurate records
· Knowledge of computer technology and software applications
· Demonstrated ability to deal extensively and effectively with a wide variety of individuals using excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
:
· Master's Degree with two or more years’ experience working with college students in academic coaching and advising
· Previous experience working with diverse student populations
· Previous experience working with teams devoted to student success
SALARY: $34,500.00
