This is a PAID internship offering valuable hands-on experience in Employee Relations, Benefits, Onboarding, and much more to set you up for future success. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by contributing to our daily operations, all while helping us promote a positive, inclusive, and equitable workplace that truly enriches the lives of our employees.WHO WE NEED:You’re currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and able to commute to our office during your internship.You’re cooperative and like to lend a helping hand to others. We have a collaborative culture here at HCSS where teamwork makes the dream work!You’re detail-oriented, a problem solver, and a logical thinker that brings fresh ideas!WHAT YOU’LL DO:Maintain our personnel files organized and up-to-date, ensuring confidentiality at all times.Participate in exciting projects that streamline HR operations and improve efficiency.Assist in audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.Learn all about employee relations and how to handle real-world HR challenges as they arise.Collaborate with our benefits coordinator, assisting with benefit plan reviews, enrollments, and reconciliations.From onboarding to offboarding, you’ll get a chance to learn every stage of an employee’s journey.Get involved in planning and participating in fun employee engagement activities, and explore so much more!WHAT YOU’LL DO:Currently in a University Program, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related-fieldExperience with an HRIS, preferably ADP Workforce NowExperience with Google SuiteExposure to benefit plans and programsFamiliarity with generating reports and project managementWHAT TO EXPECT:This internship is semester-based and we’ll work around your school schedule. For the Summer Break, you can work up to 40 hours a week. During the Fall/Spring semesters, you can work up to 25 hours a week.Training and mentoring will be provided, and you’ll receive feedback on your performance regularly.
