Works with internal and external customers to coordinate transportation management activities
as well as inventory control for production and sales within our plants. Supports internal
customers with daily customer relations, projects, data management and reporting. Supports
Procurement in follow-up and expediting activities which includes obtaining Purchase Order
Acknowledgements, tracking material returned for rework and purchase order close out
activities.
Run follow-up reports in open PO's
Analyze Metrics for on-time/late supplier deliveries
Analyze, compile and distribute follow-up data to suppliers
Manages Vendor rating KPI's
Follow-up on late material
Expedite material to meet all required Program need dates
Collect necessary POD documents to input delivery receipt requests including drop
shipments
Assist in processing NCMR's (Non-conforming Material Returns)
Prepare and manage all new supplier add/change requests in a timely manner
Assist in Invoice discrepancy resolution
Work with suppliers to monitor and ensure deliveries schedules are met
Attend follow-up meetings to review open orders with management and improve deliveries, prioritizing Key Customer's needs
3.Manages inventory controlling to make sure material receipts match with open PO's
Analyze Metrics for on-time/late supplier deliveries to achieve corporate goals
Manages Vendor Rating KPI's and interacts with low performing suppliers to create corrective
action plans
Follow-up on late material to update Purchase Orders with accurate dates
Assists in Purchase Order Close Out Activities
Interacts with procurement/planning to make sure Mfg and Sales needs are met
Negotiates rebates and payment terms with suppliers to facilitate WADPO and Deflation
Plan achievement
Ensures delivery disputes with suppliers are promptly resolved
Negotiates rebates and payment terms with suppliers
May change transportation method for incoming shipments from suppliers within set limits
-May amend PO"s within set limits
May change purchasing prices within set limits
Approval of line Manager needed beyond set limits
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, etc.)
Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience in inventory controlling or supply chain environments
JDE experience in MPR/DRP / Supplier / Purchase Pricing Management
Degree in business, engineering, or materials management

with certification in supply chain management preferred
