Supply Chain Analyst
Summary: The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for Clear to Build readiness, including material tracking and management. The Analyst will be required to create scalable reporting/modeling for material readiness, standardize the process and analyze supplier provided data to report material shortages, identify escalation requirements, monitor build performance of suppliers, commodity capacity/risk mitigation, and support tooling integration. Scope may also include facilitation of purchase orders, hardware receiving, and driving continuous process improvements of our supplier's material management. In this role, the candidate will partner closely with the NPI Supply Chain Managers, Commodity Sourcing Managers and Demand/Supply Planners.
Responsibilities: Review and potentially optimize suppliers based on material readiness Root cause for shortages, lead time trends, and other relevant factors Support the end-to-end Clear to Build management process and collaborate with NPI Supply Chain Manager to identify risk, need for escalation, and track progress to resolution Support NPI scalability, understanding and aggregating data requirements to drive supply continuity Assess and drive broker buy purchases Drive automation on an aggressive timeline Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers and with the wider organization Facilitate NPI Purchase Order and hardware receiving processes, including, but not limited to: tracking/supporting part number creation, ECO release/changes, transfer of hardware within systems/tools and product BOM and cost Analyze supply chain tools and document processes observed to continuously drive improvement and standardization opportunities Alignment of NPI BOMs to maintain Meta's approved vendor list Support TCO analysis to ensure project cost are meeting or beating cost objectives Communicate forecast and verify fulfillment from a materials perspective Propose solutions to eliminate shortages impacting build and ship schedules
Minimum Qualifications: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze material Clear to Build reports, lead times and other technical data Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing Cost analysis experience and knowledge of EMS/ODM/JDM/OEM business models, consignment & turnkey materials management, cost modeling, supply chain design, and reverse logistics a plus Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros and VBA, data simulations, conditional formatting) Previous experience with computer applications, and reporting tools such as Tableau
Years of Experience/Education: 7 years of supply chain/materials experience Bachelor's in supply chain or a related business field required or equivalent experience
