Role DescriptionThe IT SAP SD Application Analyst acts as an internal consultant for Ardagh Group's ERP systems (SAP and sub-systems). This role is focused on configuring, documenting, and creating solutions within sales and distribution.ResponsibilitiesCreate and document defined solutions to business requirements into IT specificationsComplete configuration of designed SAP SD solutionsProvide understanding of SAP ERP SD functionality and integrationCommunicate business process knowledge within Sales and DistributionProactively progress project or support requests according to SLA to include configuration of solution in SAP SD moduleFocus areas include: Sales, Delivery, Billing, Billing Plan, Rebates, Pricing, Credit Management, Shipping and Transportation, and Logistics ExecutionLiase as the main contact for the functional business units and their process owners for relevant topics such as application support, change requests, enhancement and new process requirementsUnderstand complex business processes and serve as subject matter expertsWork proactively on continuous improvement processes for ERP system usage and functionsLead and assist projects of various sizes, containing internal as well as external team membersWork with and guide external consultants in support cases and projects while ensuring best cost value for Ardagh GroupAlign with other IT applications to integrate business and process functions into the ERP systems, providing interoperability between multiple IT systemsCreate and execute test scenarios to ensure quality of deliverablesCoordinate cross team integration activitiesMonitor and control outsourced application support services in cooperation with the ERP AMS teamMinimum Skills / QualificationsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentTen (10) years of experience within SAP SDExcellent understanding of Integration with other SAP areas such as Production Planning, Materials Management, Warehouse Management, Logistics Execution, and FI/COExperience in working in a highly customized SAP Environment with good debugging skillsKnowledge of other non-SAP ERP applications, e.g. SAP integrated systemsProven understanding and knowledge of interfaces, IDOCs, and EDI integrationPreferred Skills / QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, business or other relevant fieldsSAP SD certificationsITIL experienceKnowledge of SAP-Transportation Management and or integration with other Transportation service providers is an advantagePrevious experience in an international company as a project leadAbout Ardagh GroupArdagh Glass Packaging is a global leader in glass packaging solutions, producing packaging for the world's leading brands.
