Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)
to join RouteThis’ executive team and report directly to the CEO. As a key strategic leader, the CRO will own all revenue-generation initiatives and spearhead an innovative, forward-looking Go-To-Market strategy.In this role, success will be achieved through a collaborative approach with company leadership and customer partners to deliver a compelling product vision and roadmap that drives growth and solidifies RouteThis as an industry leader. The ideal candidate brings hands-on startup experience, with a proven ability to strategically drive revenue performance, strengthen operational alignment, and elevate market positioning. Team Building and Process Development : Build, lead, and scale high-performing sales, marketing, implementation, and customer success teams with a focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.Customer Journey Ownership : Define and execute a customer journey that spans from lead acquisition through renewal and expansion, setting KPIs, metrics, and accountability frameworks that align with company goals.Deal Qualification and Coaching : Implement a robust qualification methodology to assess and pressure-test sales opportunities, helping reps identify areas of improvement and coaching them to success.Pipeline and Revenue Growth : Drive pipeline growth, sales, and software deployment for large-scale operational teams, including contact centers, field services, and retail, using an enterprise land-and-expand strategy.Cultural Leadership : Act as a cultural driver of urgency, accountability, and teamwork, setting the pace for the revenue organization and fostering a company-wide "One Team" approach.What you bring to the table:
Enterprise Sales Background : Extensive experience in enterprise B2B SaaS sales, ideally with expertise in telecommunications or selling to frontline operations teams.Proven Track Record in Scale-Up:
Demonstrated experience driving revenue from $5M to $30M+ ARR in a scaling organization.Enterprise Land and Expand Sales Experience:
Extensive background developing and implementing a cross functional land and expand sales motion, and ideally leading a revenue organization through a mid-market to enterprise ICP transition.Highly Hands-on Leadership:
Recent experience leading a sales team directly, and co-working deals with sales reps in order to develop the playbooks/practices that will enable scale.Customer Journey Expertise:
Direct experience building and managing the end-to-end customer journey, with oversight of sales, marketing, implementation, and customer success.Proof of Concept/Value Execution:
Experience running highly successful proof of value type trials pre-sale with customers, including programs which drive measured KPI improvement for prospects through the trial process.Leadership and Process Orientation:
Skilled in team building and process development, able to study and learn from past successes and challenges to drive improvement.Exceptional Team Player:
