$100,000 - $120,000Job Description:The Health Informatics Data Analyst will work under the leadership of the Chief Medical Information Officer to bridge IT, clinical, and business needs within the hospital. This role involves managing and analyzing healthcare data to support strategic decision-making, improve patient care, operational efficiency, and clinical decision-making.Responsibilities:Data Management:
Compile, organize, and manage large healthcare datasets from various sources including Electronic Health Records (MEDITECH, Athena, OncoEMR, Aria, Centricity) and other relevant systemsAnalysis and Reporting:
Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights through detailed reports and data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI and ExcelData Governance:
Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures. Ensure data privacy and security complianceCollaboration:
Work with clinical staff to understand workflows and integrate data solutionsProcess Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance healthcare quality and reduce costsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s preferredProficiency in SQL SSRS, MS Office, and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BIStrong analytical skills with experience in healthcare data managementFamiliarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, CCDA)Experience working with Meditech tables and Athena data sets preferred.
